Good guess but it was taken from the balcony of our cruise ship.

I highly recommend stopping by Evelakes flickr page and checking out this entire series of images.

One last bald eagle in flight image. Left more shadow under the wings and backed off on the NR, so there's a little more detail in the head feathers

Was out with my brother looking for wave surfers today, but all we found was some kite surfers. Anyway, taken with the old 55-250 IS II, pretty decent I think. There's 3 more from this serie on my flickr page.

To much credit guys:-D there's lots of talent around here. And sharing is the most fun part.
Many times a see so many good/excellent photo's passing bye that it gives me inspiration to go out there and try my best.
The difficult part is the compositions, sometimes you see them cleary and sometimes you are blind to it.

I forgot to post this mockingbird. It was just chilling on a bush, the closest I've had the chance of getting to a bird, which is really the only way 135mm is long enough to get a solid bird shot.

Nothing much alive at the beginning of January in the macro world in the north west of England - but found this little slug on the wall outside as it slimed past a small outcrop of moss seed heads. One 21mm extension tube on the 100mm lens.

Hokie that is a beauty! I've got one in the backyard that over time has grown accustomed to me and let's me get within 4 or 5 feet some times.
Beautiful slug work Paul (I hope its a slug). The surrounds of the animal really set it off.
