I find this shot very interesting and sort of draws me in.
Nice job.

Olympus OM Zuiko Auto-W 24mm f/2, open aperture, mist and fog as usual this season. Rather dark.

I like the snow and background in the first, and the deer in the second. I'd love to see the images blended, but hate to suggest extra work for anyone!

Agreed with Jeff. To my eye snow looks better in the first, but the deer in the second has more 3D pop.
p.s. Davev, I tried to order the gloves but they were sold out :(

Tried to blend the two, I don't have the expertise to do it.

Tough luck on the gloves, they're pretty warm.
Did you order some other kind?

I would suggest the opposite blur the background for a nice bokeh, the trees draws the attention away fom the deer.

Hello everyone, last night I spent over an hour trying to figure out whether my 70D can or not shoot more than 3 shots with bracketin +/-2/3 for HDRs.
As far as I could understand it can fire only 3 shots, more then sufficient to me, but just to make sure if I missed something.
Thanks.

Fabrizio

Being a macro photographer, like most bugs, I tend to go into a hibernacula like they do (the house!).

I take fewer images as the weather gets colder, and the camera sometimes doesn't see the light of day for a fortnight or more.

Picked it up very briefly today though...

Grab shot through the window (double glazed door) - of an occasional visitor to the garden - a little wren. The wren is the second smallest bird in Britain (only the Goldcrest is smaller). Not a particularly good shot, however. Murky conditions, the light not helping at all... Taken at f/8, ISO400...

The ice was on the moss this morning - but even with 4 images stacked for depth of field, it still didn't give me a good image, so I sometimes wonder why I bother. But I'm getting bored of waiting for macro time, so took it, and shared it here anyway!
