If you are on a budget but you want the most buck for your lenses those two are keepers. I posted a thread in the Canon EOS Digital Cameras forum but for those of you who may not have seen it Tamron is now updating the non-VC 17-50mm f/2.8 to work correctly in Live View on the 70D.
