Although we didn't get the blizzard they predicted Monday night, I still had a snow day on Tuesday. Decided to venture out to see a couple of flicks in the afternoon and grabbed camera on way out the door.

They're ok if you catch them just right, but usually just look flat. I liked this guy, and the tones of the scene kind of worked with the gray in the feathers.

Another random image with the 400L. No birds were cooperating, so I had to look for something mildly interesting to shoot.

I have been following this thread for a long time but I was ashamed to add a photo, but the post @evelakes gave me some courage.
