Thank you. Keeping the 70d, very happy with it. Use it more than my 6D.

These look really good, Meglet! Are any of them JPEGs? I'm really curious to see some 70d JPEGs SOOC. These have such beautiful color tones and great clarity. I understand your situation with the 24-105. I use my 70D with 15-85 way more than my 6D with 24-105. So much that I'm seriously wondering if I want to keep the 6D. Don't start screaming everyone! :-P I know you will all think I'm crazy. The 6d is a wonderful camera. But I'm so pleased with it the 70D that I'm just not using the 6D much anymore.

Why JPEG, RAW rules you can do so much with RAW that is not possible with Jpeg. The only reason to shoot Jpeg is when you want to shoot HDR (camera menu) or a higher continues burst rate. Else i would not recommend it.

70D makes a fine landscape camera because of the swivel screen with touch and the dual pixcel for fast fast live view focuing
Took some of these shots in Live View if I remember right. Don't think i will ever change to a camera without swivel screen.

Also, much easier with the flip screen to get these kind of effects in pictures where you can get closer to the ground without laying down :)

SOOC JPEG is so limiting on 70D or any other DSLR, i really recommend to switch to RAW as soon as possible!;-]

i had only my 70-200, shot is heavily cropped, so apologize for bad quality, but i never seen gulls so agressive.... :)

Haha, I just thought of something. Whats your DOF on these shots? 1/4 inch? Probably too complicated for me!

Don't do macro myself, no lens for that, but your shots are always top-notch. Not much to shoot here in the winter, I took a shot of my computer the other day I was so bored!

There won't be many bugs around the NW of England for another 4 to 6 weeks, so any I do find are like collectors items!

Eryk,
What a beautiful colors and amazing pictures. I just fell like dust off my camera and start taking pictures again. Very inspiring landscapes from 70D even though every one recommends 6D.
