PaulIddon Cream of the Crop More info | Mar 01, 2015 05:41 | #9741 Did find a harvestman this morning, but it was very dull really and had to ramp the ISO up to 5000 and to 6400 which meant running NR to get rid of the lumpy bits. Came out OK though I think. What do you think? Paul. My site: http://www.pauliddon.co.uk

They look perfectly acceptable to me, but I regularly shoot the 70D at 6400 and have never felt that it needed heavy noise reduction so my standards might not be as high as others. Aaron

These aren't going to make it into any wildlife magazines, but they aren't half bad for being shot thru a double pane window at 3200 ISO: Fuji X....BAAAAM! Renders way different than Sony.

You have a point there, I almost never crop in post and if I do its usually pretty minimal. I have in camera NR disabled completely on all of my cameras as I prefer to do it myself in post if need be. Aaron

Mar 02, 2015 08:55 | #9748 Taken with the Samyang 35 1.4. Ridiculously sharp for the bargain basement price, but fully manual. Great for things that aren't moving. Fuji X....BAAAAM! Renders way different than Sony.
