Okay haven't even been lurking - busy with new puppy, and work work. Finally a holiday - so excuse me for suddenly posting again.

Nice, Rose. I'm a sucker for anything abandoned, and I think the HDR look works well for church interiors.

Had some time to wander yesterday, so I took out the 70D and found an ice cream truck graveyard. The light was a challenge, and I wish I had more time, but I'll be back!

Thanks, Paul. Wasn't happy with the last one myself, but it gave the widest view of what I had shot. The light was just too harsh on the left, and fell off quickly on the right. If I could have stayed another half hour it would have been perfect, but I was already late returning home!!

Jeff awesome set...love the processing!

Seems like ages since i've posted anything. Weather sucks, work is overwhelming at the moment. A quick stop on way up to my cousins last wknd from a lookout. Harsh lighting so I went with a 3 shot blend and b&w conversion

Wow I've missed a lot of great work!
Love the church, the sunrise, the globbies, the ice cream truck derelicts, just to name a few :)
Richard finally to answer the question=a vehement yes. Its almost as sharp as my 300 and a whole lot lighter. They really made progress from the first Gen. Only minor observation from the 'pros ' is the bokeh but to my hobbyist mind its fine.
I was studying a 500 but got a wild hair and added a whole m4/3s system that's going to s.America in two weeks....not one EOS body is going! Sacriledge I know but I'm aging quickly a nd really just nowgetting over both knee surgeries so weight matters more now than it ever did.

Best I could manage in the dreadful weather of late - a shot of the water-living globular springtails on a fallen leaf in the garden pond. Very small. Second is a crop of the first so you get an idea of the scale.
