Now to add the new 50mm F/1.8 STM, and that will make a nice little kit for almost every occasion.

A few from yesterday. Never seen so many cameras in the crowd, a D-series, a few 5D'somethings… No pressure, haha…

^^^Nice set Simon

Richard - well done on the burst series. Like the layout of the shots next to one another.

Nice! That's Windsor Castle isn't? I used to live there like 10 years ago.

This is a brown lacewing - though of the 29 or so species in the UK, it could be any one of those!

It wasn't particularly co-operative as it just kept wandering up and down the stalk of the welsh poppy flower.

Damn what a page of images!
RebelSimon, my favorite in that series is the hand with the red tattoo-that captivates me.
Evalakes you've blown me away again! Knowing owls are dear to my heart, just blown away.
Lozw-three lenses to rule them all!!! Very smart and results speak for themselves. Obviously you don't need any
lens guidance but if I was toting that setup I'd add the Tamron 60mm F2 macro considering size and weight.
Paul all three are perfect (of course, me still jealous but you do keep me motivated); but the third to my eye is
especially beautiful.
OK, so some of you know I'm venturing more into astro with the 70D. What I haven't mentioned lately is I've got a much better (emission wise) camera, a modded T2i that homes in on Ha-Alpha (especially prominent in a lot of the nebula); but the T2i doesn't have a swivel screen :( Being no spring chicken I find myself grabbing the 70D because I know after a session I'll still be able to move the next day.
I don't know how to preserve EXIF when stacking....I bet there is a way waiting for me to discover but today while the 70D was running this stack I was in the backyard digging a trench (with a Tennessee backhoe=mattock) from the pillar that holds the astro mount to the house, so I know I won't me moving spryly tomorrow. Anway, today's stack:

I like this one because it shows perspective, just how small your subject is comparatively.

Thanks Paul. I had to read up on 'presentation' and how to clean their eyes a bit.
Still much too learn but that's part of the fun.

Cheers Will - it's odd how the bug facing the wrong way actually seems to work better too, compositionally.
