If i put a film protector on the 70d's LCD, will it affect the touch screen sensitivity? Thanks! The manual says - Don't, as it will affect the sensitivity. I did (just because I had a spare one, left as an extra for the 60D), used it for almost two month, and did not notice any difference. It is still on.

Oct 14, 2013 14:35 | #1226 I don't use one..the thing is hard coated dense substrate glass (gorilla glass)..and you can fold it in when transporting it, which is when it is likely to take damage. They add another layer of occlusion and reflection to the display, and in full sunlight you need all the help you can get if you are using it. I also feel that touch accuracy and feel isn't as good when using screen protectors on any touch screens. Cameras: 7D2, S100

I think of display protectors on modern glass screens like I do a prophylactic - it might make things a bit safer, but it just isn't as good ![]() One problem I have is when I put my 70D back in my camera bag I always forget to fold the screen back in.
