On a piece of wood in the garden - three bugs for me - a plant bug, a globby, and a white-legged millipede (Tachypodoiulus niger I think)...

Sad to say Jeff the Dock Spider 'Spidy' is buried in the back yard.
He lived 8 months with us.
We have a new house-mate 'Rosy', a Chilean Rose-haired Tarantula.
She may turn out to be a Roscoe, won't know until we see a molt.

Sorry to hear about Spidy. Had a friend in high school with a pet Tarantula, and it was very friendly and tame. It was named "JR" (JR Ewing from "Dallas", remember "who shot JR?) because his dad said if he ever saw it out of my friends room, he was going to shoot it.

With no intention of minimizing the beautiful subjects here, what I am enjoying most is the light. I haven't seen the sun (except in a picture) in two weeks!!
