A trip to the very busy Mercato Market in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Understand there was some type of chaos there last week due to some type of explosion. Glad my trip was uneventful!

Finally found an 18-55mm IS STM.
Jumped at the price before reading here for opinions.
Good lens?
I already have the 10-18 and most recently the 55-250...seems like
the perfect 3 lens solution to set Poof up with for lightweight travel.
Thoughts?

I have 18-55 stm... its totally worth it. Would be a great addition to your current 2 stm lens. I did thought about getting 10-18 stm since already have 18-55 and 55-250 stm but got tokina 11-16 instead.

Its what I have and it serves me well. I have previously had much higher end as mention previously and I like how light the 18-55 stm is.

Now all you have to give Poof is the 50 stm and she has the new generation of The Holy Trinity - with the bonus 10-18 stm ;-)a

Everyone seems so relaxed when you are imaging them. just curous--how many languages do you
have under your belt? Maybe you are sweet talking them :)
Forgot to mention, colors are always beautiful and vibrant in your grabs.

I looked at the 50mm STM, it has a metal mount=Poof might think I'm trying
to manipulate her ;)

Only English. I learn a few words when taking a trip and that seem to go a long way. But lots of people speak some English. I like to talk with them and make jokes. Who doesn't like to laugh?! Most of the young kids were pretty receptive to having their shots taken. Some ran in the other direction! :-)

Just curious...are colors too much? Over doing it?

A camera didn't make a great picture anymore than a typewriter wrote a great novel.

I agree, colors look great and no matter if I'm looking here at work, on my phone or the 4K monitor.

Your colors appeal to me as well as the contrast ... very well done and congrats.
