With nothing but rain lately I had to try capture this waterfall. Not the easiest spot to access 20ft steep slippy and wet. The rain and river mist was a nightmare to keep the lens dry.

Missed focus on one eye, but not too unhappy with it. She is happy with it. Will that mean more portrait opportunities for 2016?

Both eyes sharp in computer, uploaded to flickr and my left eye is not as sharp. Any ideas why? Am I imagining it? Maybe it is OOF? still looks sharper in my computer than any of these

If you are focussing on an eye - then both should certainly be sharp or at least in focus at f/4, even f/1.8 if both eyes are in the same plane of focus.

The face looks to be in focus, so do you have a focus point over an eye?

otherwise might be a lens front-focus issue

I don't know, it may be a front focus issue, but I do think I focused on the eye. It didn't happen before with this lens! On my computer both seem to be sharp. Oh well, I guess I'll live with it :)

I'm wondering if the lighting on the left eye (lighter than the right) is giving that impression. Hard to tell. Hmmmmm
