430 ex II problem....

I am using the 580 exII as a master and the 403exII as a slave and the 430 keeps
getting on the sleep mode after a minute or so.
Any idea

My camera is a 5dmkII

read up on the custom functions in the manual - that's a setting that can be changed

I think you can also set those via the camera's back LCD with the 430-II on top of camera with wording as opposed to the flash's LCD and no wording

Yes, all you have to do is turn off the sleep mode in the custom functions.

yep, the damn thin was at CF 01 wich enable auto power off after a certain moment!
Thanks, it works as a charm.....
Now i'm ready for those japanese dominatrix!!!!

The 430EX II in slave mode should remain on at least 10 minutes depending on C.FN-10 and irrespective of C.FN-01.

it stopped working again as a duo with the 580exII
That 430exII is'nt reliable,
Yesterday it was working, and today it's not showing that beaming red light underneath the flash
That is when I know its not working.

I was the problem, not the flash,
I did not press ZOOM on the slave, so it did not work
