I hadda just crop it ![]() I notice that even tough you turned up the contrast, it seems more even than in the original. ...interesting... Other than that I must admit I don't see a big difference... fault being totally mine! I have terrible eyesight I don't see subtle changes too well... PROLLY not something I should admit as a wanna be photog! but anywho... ![]() I appreciate you taking the time to help. I will go back over your settings and try to recreate it in PS! I checked out some of your shots on the picasa thingy... those stormy landscape shots are great!! I tried to keep the edits subtle, just mostly toning down the highlights on the far right for the most part. It's much easier to see differences when you're toggling edits in Lightroom on/off. I like the shallow DOF here, but I do get feeling as if you cut too much off; similar to compositions with cut off limbs when photographing people. I think you could have maintained the same perspective, but maybe adjusted the framing just a bit to capture a little more of the guitar. I use manual exposure settings on the copy machine

I don't mind cutting off the neck like I did, but I wish I had back away a few more inches and gotten the rest of the body on the side closest to the camera in the shot. M. Kevin M.
