Woooohooo! Finally... and I is very pleased with it. Took about 50-60 pics with the 28-135UIS lens, very good indeed, all I need now is to learn photography!!

I simply love the thing, focusing is very very fast and accurate, im not gona grumble but praise canon for making this amazing piece of kit a bit more affordable to people like me.

I spoke to the assistant about the focusing issue and he said "Canon got the faulty camera's and it was to do with the focusing Ic (or something) the issue has been resolved and all new camera's will be ok.

I need getting used to the handling though, me little finger has no where to rest!!!

me looks at wife..... "Plz can I have a battery grip"

Apart from that what should be next on my list chaps? (got a UV filter BTW )

Stoneh,

LOL...You are funny. Well, what did you're wife say? NO! Today a battery grip, tomorrow a raincover and who knows what else. What about a zoom 300mm or 400mm, new tripod and some larger CF cards. Face it, you are hooked and you have to have all the accessories to go with it.

Congrats!! I know you will love it of course. Hurry, take some photos and post so we can see them, don't forget the little people.

NiL,

Canon 1D Mark II, 24-70 f/2.8L, 17-40 f/4L, 70-200 f/2.8L. 580EX, 4 - Alien Bees, Gitzo Tripod, Bogen Monopod.
