A couple of images from each of my weekend trips of the past couple of weeks.

First up is Olympic park from last weekend

Wasting Away

Shot at Rialto Beach in La Push about an hour prior to sunset.

Next one is also from Rialto Beach, on our way out after sunset.

Rushing

The last two are both from my hike to Spray Park on Mount Rainier the weekend before last. I left with mild thunderstorms predicted in hopes of getting some dramatic skies. No luck. It was extremely foggy with almost zero visibility at times. It did clear up bit on the way down, so I was able to snap a couple of quick pics in the breaks.

Beautiful shots! My wife and I spent our honeymoon in La Push exploring the coast-line. In fact, its 32 years together tomorrow.

And yes...I remembered to set up the delivery of flowers! ;)

I like the misty atmosphere of #1.

I swear spray park is always foggy. That's what I get every time I go there.

There are some nice shots near the lake when the fog is dense though.

Great shots. I especially like the mist around the trunks of the trees in the last one. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful series, Robert. When I was recently at Rialto Beach, fog persisted for several days so no sunset for me.

Great shots Robert, I really like the first and last shots. I'm going to try my luck on the coast this weekend...fingers crossed for good weather.

Great photos as always, Robert. I especially love the first set over on the coast. Were you using a ND filter, or was the lighting just right to do a slightly long exposure like that?

Terrific shots! I love those lone trees perched on top of those knife-like outcrops.
