sure it was a 2 light setup…one Einstein in a 16"BD and the a speed light in the rear for the paper…

I figured it was a two light set up of sorts. Love the glow just around her head from the speedlight in the back.

I was wondering about that?!? I guess everything is relative. You should be able to pick up an older siggy 30mm1.4 for < $300. I think this is cheap in comparison to the siggy 35 1.4 that I paid nearly $900 for or a 35L that is >$1000! Is cheap <$100??

Had to go into the archives, since my cheapest current lens (EF-S 60mm macro - $416 at B&H) apparently doesn't qualify. Both of these were taken with T1i and 18-55 IS kit lens in December 2010.

For the purposes of this thread, let's keep it real cheap. No "L"s to be sure and most prosumer glass is not what I'd consider cheap. I'm talking nifty fifty, pancake, 28-135IS & 28-105 II, 18-55, cheap third party glass, etc.

Let's show 'em that it is the photographer and not the equipment.

I've been wondering what exactly the cut would be for what's considered cheap. Preed's EF-S 60 was cheaper than what a 28-135 IS currently listed on Amazon.

My old 17-70 is also priced in this range but I don't consider it cheap but I don't consider the 28-135 cheap either(sure it coming in some kits has likely made used price fairly low). I also have an old 18-200, it retails for much more but isn't worth much on the used market.

The only lenses I own or have owned that I'm sure qualify are my Helios 44-3 I just picked up and my old 18-55 non IS that came with my 300D(I also had a second one that came with my 40D that I never even used that went away with my 30D).
