Nice pics. I love my 40 STM. Has me thinking about selling my nifty fifty. The 40 almost never hunts for focus and even though the fifty is 1.8 the 40 seems to perform better in lower light.

Purchased the camera about three weeks ago, and have been reading and testing the camera. Today, I had to pull a dead tomato plant out of a raised flower bed, in my backyard. I have four pet chickens that were excited to "help" me. For this picture, I got down to the chicken's eye level, and took a close shot at around four feet away from my chicken. Setting was full auto, green box. It may not be the best picture, however, I'm still learning what this camera can do--especially coming from an old Canon film camera. Chickens always look to me like they know they taste good, and are terribly disappointed by their predicament. That has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard! If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

Sorry for the low quality I took it off of Facebook because I am not sure where the original is because I took it like a year ago, and I had my PC die out me a couple months ago. If I find the original Ill update the post with the pic 7D| Σ 50mm f/1.4 | 24-105 L
