By overall forum standards, I think all my lenses are cheap! That said, these were taken with either the 55-250 IS kit lens, or the 50mm f/1.8.

The 55-250 was a tack sharp lens for me, and it looks like it's working well for you as well!

Yup! I've pretty much replaced it with a Tamron 70-300, but I still have one, and I just can't bring myself to sell it. It's a remarkably good lens for the price.

Well perhaps not the best image but the lens was REALLY cheap! Holga Pinhole lens with bonus vignetting £10 inc postage ($12 these days).

P.S. a 13mm extension tube cures the vignetting, not needed on 1.3 or 1.6 crop cameras.
