The game will last 5 Days (usually it's 7) and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.
Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #486".

Submissions end, Tuesday, Aug 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM (NY time) and a winner will be announced.

I did a lot on this one. I am still just learning photoshop, so I probably did more than was needed just to see if I could.

I split the image into two layers. One for the car and asphalt and one for the grass. Bumped the saturation, vibrance and clarity on both. I toned down the purples on the car layer via the tint. Then I masked the grass layer to reveal a cloudy sky shot I took the other day. I stretched and blurred the cloud layer, and added a little more blur to the grass layer. Next I took out the cable under the car and cleaned up some of the dirt/blemishes/hot spots on the car using the spot healing tool. Lastly, I cropped a little off the left side to match the right.

Six6sicks: I really like this edit! Car looks super clean and the grass really pops... I wish our grass really was that green. :)

Ratjack- Nice touch with the tint and fixing that stupid hanging line.

Colt 4570- Nice work. Contrast/hdresqness works well for this pic! Thanks for losing the plate too! :)

Fsbk366- Clean edit showcasing the car in a simple way. The winner.

Take it away fsbk366!
