I think this is the correct forum for this thread, if it is not I apologize!

Anyone know if I can use my Canon 50 1.4 /w the canon hood and fit a 58-67 step up ring with 67 nd filter on it?

Guy at the shop said definitely not, so I trusted him and bought a 58 nd. But when I got home and looked again it seems to me like it would fit. I should have brought my lens or waited because I think they have a no return policy (small camera shop) doh!
