SX50 Max Aperture

Could a kind SX50 owner tell me what the max aperture is at each of the focal lengths marked on the lens barrel please.

Very simple to see for yourself! When in AV mode look in the viewfinder to see how wide you can open up the aperture at any particular focal length.

If I had the camera I would certainly be able to do it myself. Truth is that I used to own this model but sold it in favour of a DSLR. I soon found that this was not a good move for me so am now thinking of going back to the SX50.

Disappointing that it hits f5.6 so quickly. The P510 at least steps slowly up.

Still a fairly good range of 24-200 even then - aperture matches most DSLR standard zooms of 18-55.
