Buddy Rabbit

Found him on the side of the road, next to a cotton field. Stopped to take photos, thought that brown thing was a piece of cardboard...........un​til I got closer and he opened his eyes.

kneeled down, and put my hand out.............bless him, he didn't bite or growl, he licked my hand.

I knew then I had a new friend for life

He had to be shaved with all of the ticks and fleas........

never in a million years would have thought he would have grown into this lovely, sweet dog.

He looks like a dog I had as a child. Very beautiful indeed, I am glad you found a home within one another and that he wasn't left there to die. I hate seeing animals suffer like that and glad there's people like you who will open your hand to them. Nice photo, beautiful story.

He got the name Rabbit because he has "hare" or "rabbit" feet.

his hind legs look like lucky rabbit feet
