At the beginning of the year, flickr decided to change their layout, even though I am getting to like it, I am in two minds whether to keep it going.

I personally don't like the idea of adverts on my flickr, but I've got other expenses to look after

I don't like the idea of paying $49.99 per year for the ad free version either

Seems like they actually improved it. Ad's aside, I would think few would cancel if they were happy beforehand.

I like the new version better. Ads? I guess my brain automatically filters them out!

The only reason I had a paid subscription was for the storage amount. Now that they upped it to 1tb for everyone I didn't see a reason to keep paying, so I cancelled. Haven't missed it yet. I'm paying for a website already, flickr is pretty much just for here :).

True, you could use ad-block add on, but some of them like tell you that they snoop on the things you do plus use private info etc, which is a bit worrying

I cancelled mine, but it was free. I was tired of all those worthless banners and stuff that always got posted to my photos
