Lioness feeding at Buffalo Kill

We did not actually witness the kill, but arrived with the buffalo still kicking and not quite dead.

Shot with a Canon 1d MKIV
Lens was a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 at a 180mm
f/4.0 and iso 400 at 1/1250th
(Yeah we were THAT close)

Yeah guys that is buffalo remnants on her cheek, and we were in a landcruisers with no sides and no windshield. A typical game drive vehicle for South Africa
