For work, I often travel to Greenville, SC. This trip, I had my camera with me, as I suspected the Reedy River Falls would be flowing well due to record rainfall. Unfortunately, as this was a quick trip, I did not have room for my tripod, and had to make due with a small gorillapod.

I was able to setup two 30 second exposures from various parts of the Liberty Bridge. Unfortunately, the angles were limited due to bridge shake. I would like to go back with the tripod and shoot from the park below. I think the lower vantage point would make for an improved composition. Next time, I guess ...

Nice shots. I have lived in Greenville all my life and you would not believe what this area looked like at one time. The Reedy was totally polluted and was used as a dumping ground for just about anything and everything. At one time you could not walk in this area after dark. I'm biased, of course, but Greenville has done a fantastic job of bringing the downtown area back.

I agree. I have had the opportunity to see a lot of the changes over a very short time. Each time I go back, there is something new and improved. Greenville has certainly done well to revitalize the downtown and do the clean up.

Nice shots. I've only been to Greenville once, but was very impressed by the town. I can see why people may be proud to live there.
