color only for this, because the color of the nails must be a part of it. bw would not fit, imo

I agree, the shot is expressing the color of the nail polish looking through the phone camera to complete the story expressed in the shot. B&W looses the effect of expression, the eye see's the phone first not the nails, and that's what the shot is about.

For me the product the hand was holding was the focal point, not the nails. You do raise an interesting point however.

Like the BW, but its kinda a color shot, so torn, how about BW except the screen, keep color. I don't like the gold band on the left of the color, but love the red nails.
