Here are some shots from a barrel race last night. I tried to get the white balance right... but it was hard to get them all to appear to have the same white balance. Probably because the light kept changing so fast. For shot info click on the image to see it on Flickr. Maybe I should have had a white balance card to use before each rider?
For these shots I used a 5D mark III and a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II.

. Pyro, that first shot is actually what made me want to try shooting barrel racing. I saw it in the 70-200 thread and thought it was an amazing shot and wanted to give it a go lol. 



You´d never get the sense of the "bounce" in the horse if it was shot from the front
