Nice series Jennifer! The Hook? I was there a couple weeks ago and the bugs/green heads were relentless. Stayed in the car the whole time.

Thank you! Yep Bombay Hook and yes the bugs were terrible. I was there Thursday from 4-8pm and Friday from 630-noon. Thursday it rained and I was hoping it would calm the bugs down a bit but no luck. I had so many flies run into my face it was incredible. At one point I was driving slow through a wooded area and a cicada came out of nowhere making that noise they make and almost hit my face...it scared the **** out of me. lol. Mosquitos were light though.
