I was very excited to get the chance to go yesterday to the 39th annual Frog Follies show, where they show off pre-'49 cars, sell rare parts for these cars and just out in the heat. I haven't been there in a few years due to it always been hot, humid and sunny but yesterday I took my son, mom, husband and brother with me and though I was raced through a bit and only got to see a fraction of the cars there (4,000 or more were entered this year) I am still pretty pleased with it being my first time with a camera. No clouds and a sun high in the sky made it difficult for us but it really made the cars stand out beautifully, and though I am not an expert with cars I wanted to post just a two of my favorites.

Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES specifically state: "Do not use the forum as your image gallery, post only the best of the best and link to the rest."
This means we allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of 2 attachments + 6 embedded (linked) images, totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

... Next year I'll plan it better and probably go alone, all the while keeping my eyes and ears open for the cruise in's that are all about doped up muscle cars.

You should be able to find lots of weekday evening meets in IN, & the crowds smaller. Also the light is usually better. See the links in my Sig, and...

Sorry, I didn't read the rules and I would have put only 2 up there but I couldn't decided on which two I really liked. I will delete the second two posts, and add the link to the gallery. Thank you for explaining to me, and for the tips. My passion isn't really autos but muscle cars and classics like these are opportunities one just can't pass up :)

They were cool, and the engines sounded great too. Some people dressed up their cars with frogs, I'll have to reread the history but that is why they call it Frog Follies.
