135mm is a very long focal length.
My friend did our wedding with the 24-70 and 70/200 combo.
Pictures came out fantastic.

Moin, I'm into portraits, and I use a 5D

I've got the 135L, and had the 70-200 f4L

recently I've been using an old 28-70 f2.8L

Opinions: the zooms are too big and too heavy for me, as I shoot hand-held. Favorite lens is the 100mm f2 (not the macro!). I liked the 85 f1.8 but went for the longer one. I was always frustrated that 70mm is too short.

I'd go for the lenses that make your life as easy as possible.
