Do the trees in the background in the second shot (bike) show a lot of chromatic aberration? Or are my eyes playing tricks? Probably not the response you were looking for.

I personally find the footprints a distraction. I like to photograph the sea with the tide going out to avoid this

The bmx shot could have been taken from a better angle to show both bike and rider off.

Everything to do with the lens used, not the camera... Very common for f2.8 on an ultra wide, unfortunately.

Jonathon, on post #3, if you shot that as raw, I would bring the shadows slider up in DPP about 2 spots, and regenerate the JPG. If you can bring the darker sections out just a little (not too much more otherwise you change the mood), it would ratchet up that shot. Great job!

unforunately no raw haha, im pretty happy with it only because the original was litterally compeletely black except for the sun
