I have a D60. Technically, what is the difference between shooting in Fine versus Normal in any of the different options . . . Large, Medium, or Small? Do any of you notice a difference in quality between say, Large/Fine and Large/Normal?

The difference is how much the jpg will be compressed. In fine you will have minimum compression (not lossless) in normal you will have som more compression. YOu will se difference if you have a lot of details and/or making large prints.

Just get larger CF-cards...they are cheap..
