Hello All,

Well, having been active on POTN for many a year, I have finally developed a website for my photography (about time too).

Though its still in development and isn't completed, I do I feel its done enough to submit it for your appraisal and kindly ask for feedback from you. I would genuinely appreciate your thoughts.

You can see the site here: http://andrewtinglephotography.com.au (external link)

Thanking you in advance, Andrew.

Nice work, very clean and clear. Think that I would probably not create a separate gallery for a category (military aircraft) where I only have two images. I would roll that in with my other flight stuff until I had enough military images to make it meaningful.

Like the social page with the clear invitation to connnect.

What system did you use Wordpress or something else?

I really like your website overall. Nice layout, easy to navigate. I agree with the above post- there are too many galleries to chose from. I'd condense them so it's quicker for the viewer to get through.

Other than that, the slideshow on the first page moves a little too quickly for my liking, I'd slow it down just a bit. That might just be me though. :)

Hi Dan,

Thanks very much for the feedback - thrilled you like it. I totally agree concerning the Military Aircraft section being too sparse, I am still sorting images and will act to resolve that asap.

Yes, it is using WordPress as a platform. I have worked with WordPress for many, many years and it was therefore the natural choice rather than learning my way round a new system.

Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to check it out and offer your thoughts. Most appreciated.

Your reply came in as I was typing my reply to Dan.

Thank you for your feedback. The reason I have split the sections the way I have is because I am intending to attack each of them from separate business angles, and I thought it may be a faster way for those looking for specific niches to see what they want to see in that specific area. You think its too much?

Also, the slider, I did up the speed of the rotation of images as I hoped that would hook a visitor asap. I am thinking about this speed now, though, based on your kind feedback.

Thank you for taking a look and offering your thoughts, genuinely appreciated.

I normally don't comment on the photos, but in this case I must say you have some nice images! The only issue is your paragraphs are centered. I just think it should be left-justified.

Thank you very much, Mike - very kind of you.

I did initially have the texts left justified but, for me, it weighted the pages to the left too much and seemed unbalanced. I will try again based on your feedback, however, so thank you for offering your thoughts on this - very much appreciated.
