I already posted a portrait from this series, but it was more of a snapshot. I did remember that, at the time of taking the photos, I had another one that I liked much more, but it took me a while to find it - somehow it got moved to a different directory.

My family members hate to pose for the camera, so every portrait usually captures a natural expression.

This image isn't really working for me, the facial expression is good, as well as the crown :) (I love the crown) but it looks like there isn't enough DOF. The left arm is in an awkward position, kind of creating a stub. I would remove the light post above her right elbow, and the green and white blotches above her left elbow. And then there is the large tree trunk running through the middle. It isn't a huge problem, but a uniform tree BG would look better.

If it was my picture, this would be an out take. Do you have any more from the series?

Are you editing in Lightroom? Try not to go so heavy on blacks and contrast - here face looks rather dirty.

It looks to me that you caught her in the act of stretching. Even if not posed, I think it would have been better if you waited for a different moment...
