"Instant replay" being used to change sports officials' rulings is not news. But, this is the first time I've seen it done by chimping...

At a golf tourney a player hit a ball that got stuck in a tree. They used a bystanders camera and zoom feature to identify the ball as the players. This allowed him to take a drop vs. going back and rehitting.

12 fps and good positioning save the day. Also... NEVER delete ANY photos until they are on the PC. Buy a 64gb card or whatever, but do not ever use the in-camera delete function or you may regret it. I'm surprised to see a working pro almost make this mistake.
