Is it possible to find the country side without leaving zone 6?
Open fields, cottages, sheep, hills, etc...
I have reached my limit of narrow streets of shops, homes, & smokers!

Open to any locations inside the 6 zones, tube or bus.

Thank you.

Hi jjd,

My first thoughts were of Richmond park and Wimbledon common, but then most of the royal parks are fairly green. If you actually want fields with animals in and no buildings in the background then london isn't where I would start. I am sure there are fields out there (along the a3 heading away from Richmond Park) but within zone 6....and pretty.

I would suggest that you try using google earth and do some scouting, then use street view on the nearby roads to get a better idea of the scenery.

Best of luck getting back to nature

Why don't you want to leave Zone 6? London is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and it's not hard to get to - Hertfordshire, Kent, Sussex, etc are all pretty easy to get to...
