When I use a strap, it's an old Op/Tech neoprene, attached to a Herringbone. I usually don't use the strap unless I'm doing a photo-walk.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

Tamrac Boomerang. The best neck strap I've ever used.

It's also available without the card holders.

I don't use them. They just get in the way. Particularly irritating as I almost invariably use a tripod.

Lots of others have chimed in with their recommendations about slings and other such, which I have not used and cannot vouch for, but if you want a comfortable neckstrap, I highly recommend the Crumpler Industry Disgrace.

In my over 45 years in photography, I have tried a variety of straps on camera bags, on battery packs, on cameras...wide leather, stretchy neoprene, Domke, Op/Tech, PacSafe

Of them all, I like the Op/Tech Super Classic the most for my dSLRs. The Op/Tech Pro (POTN) is simply too bulky for me, as I do not use superteles or huge aperture long zooms, nor do I have a 1D/1Ds body nor a Canon battery grip.

You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost! Keep POTN alive and well with member support https://photography-on-the.net/forum/donate.php
Canon dSLR system, Olympus OM 35mm system, Bronica ETRSi 645 system, Horseman LS 4x5 system, Metz flashes, Dynalite studio lighting, and too many accessories to mention

bannedPermanent ban

Domke Gripper, Green Canon swivel version, on my 7D and tan non-swivel version on my x100. Thinking of changing the tan to the swivel version. I tried many different straps and setups and eventually opted for something simple, well-made, and inexpensive.
