My nephews pup (Sharp Eagle). Just re-bought the 85mm f/1.8. Boy did I miss this lens.

Shelter dogs or exshelter dogs? They look so darn lovable. Amazing photos of them as well. I cannot imagine them staying ownerless for long!

As someone who wears kind of thick glasses... I have a really hard time focusing manual. I have adjusted my camera viewfinder as close as I can but usually I have to take off my glasses to see the full photo in the viewfinder and even then, I still have a hard time focusing manually. I have always liked the look of poormans tilt shift. Mainly the color bleeding into the photos is my favorite. Just sadly, I have a hard time getting a sharp focus by hand :S
50mm 1.8 that broke and I took apart.

Does playing with the diopter help at all without the glasses on? You've probably already tried, but I just learned about it, lol. I'm not a 'RTM' type of person - I learn as I go, ha.

Nice shots, btw.

It does help but I have to have my glasses off for it to make a real effect. Sadly, doesnt go far enough to be perfect but gets close for me at least. It does make a big difference though from when I first got the camera.
I am not a RTM person either. ADD doesnt like manuals haha. I learned about it when accidently adjusting it and searching to figure out what that dial did on the camera.

Thank you for the compliment!

I wear contacts and also have issues with manual focus, so I need all the help I can get, using the zoom feature especially. The two dogs I posted are both still in-shelter, but its a no-kill shelter, so they are safe until they find a forever home!

Every time I get close to her with my camera, she turns and runs away. I finally caught her off guard, lol.
