My last post of my boy Dusty. He was a great dog and my favourite subject. He injured his leg a couple months ago and it completely let go Thursday. Had to put him down on Friday. Sad, but we had 11+ great years together. They do take a big old chunk of ya with them though. Happy hunting my old friend, see you on the other side!

I can totally relate, we lost two in three years span.

Timber, our yearling rescue. We received her @ 4 months old.
She's some type of hound mix, 75 pounds of puppy energy.
She had lower eyelids that were rolling inward, causing her to constantly tear and bugger up. That was corrected with surgery a few months ago, as it would have eventually blinded her with age.

Sophie came with Timber. She's two years, very shy, VERY smart, and just a gentle sweet girl. Both dogs have been with us a year now, and have settled in wonderfully.
