Hi guys. I bought this off Craigslist yesterday.

We are new to DSLRs and we bought ourselves the 70d.
My second purchase was this tripod. I love the tripod, hate the head. It is obviously a video head. Super heavy duty, and only pans up and down.

Here is what the bottom of the head looks like with the center rod removed.

Loosen the 3 setscrews and I can unscrew the center rod from the head.
That little triangle dealybob next to the shaft is plugged into the bottom of the shaft, and has the same threads as the big end.
So I can do this:

So my question (finally) is what are my options in replacing this head with a usable DSLR head instead of this video head? Are they readily available for a tripod this old?
Thank you for any ideas you might have
Michael
