Agreed. Based on 8-12 inches for the bird's beak, that bass looks almost big enough for a human to eat-12-16 inches is a legal keeper in my area, depending on whether it's a river or lake, and what lake(lots of regulations here for bass fishing). Quite a meal to swallow whole!

I was shocked when I saw the fish in his mouth being that I could see it from at least 50 yards away! If I had to guess I would say 12 inches. It was amazing to watch how long it held the bass out of the water until it quit fighting.
