why did that guy take a picture with the shutter speed 1/2000? :O

its not how you take the picture, its the final result before editing.

Why not, some of mine were 1/8000. It's a bright day, shot at F2.8, no filters, ISO 50 and still shutter to freeze head on was needed pretty high!

Agreed. Head on, sure but that's more of a pan. It still almost looks like there is wheel blur which must be my eyes. I've frozen wheels of ALMS cars going much faster than these at a lesser SS.

However, outstanding set, loved all of them bw!

Thanks Eric a lot. This was a very tight hairpin, so after a bit of sideways or understeer (depending on driver), they came out still pretty slow for any sort of panning. And panning head on is very tricky at that slow speed at long tele lenses I find, keepers rate is not that big. If the set is done for fun yes, I'd risk it as well, if it's for publishing/sale - I'd say the guy just played safe as well.

Love the shallow DoF Reinis, the depth to #1 is stunning. The atmospheric shots also do it for me.

I love #2 and #4
But it's a good solid set, they are all excellent.

Is it strange I can tell its a 1dmk3 and 580EX in pic 7 ? I don't think I have ever been in a situation where I could grab a pic like that (where it would show on the screen properly)

Don't, just buy it :) Best thing ever if you do weddings and motorsport. Best of both worlds.
