Jeez I just paid 789 last week anybody think a adorama will honor the 599 price since I just bought it
If not, return it and buy it again. But I'm sure they'd honor it since it's within the return period.

I would find difficult to buy a f/2.8 primes nowadays. Fuji XE-1, Zeiss ikon, Hasselblad; I love shooting film as a conceptual idea

smythie I wasn't even trying More info | Sep 02, 2013 09:41 | #26 Thorrulz wrote in post #16257101 From the review I read at TheDigitalPicture the 35 f/2 IS is a very good lens and while priced on the high end it delivers excellent quality. I actually forgot about it and will need to reconsider whether or not to go with it or the Sigma 35 f/1.4. really? I mean no offense, just surprised to read you mention considering the Sigma after reading a lot of your highly critical remarks on the brand. I'd be intrigued to read what has changed your mind if you would be inclined

I've owned both. both are excellent but I prefer the 35 f2 because I prefer the FL and the 4-stop IS. the 28 IS is the smallest of the three new IS primes and is the sharpest wide open but the 35 is as good stopped down to f 2.8. http://instagram.com/edraderphotography/
