Hey guys.
How many usable hours can I expect out of a MacBook Pro 13", 8 GB ram, 256 SSD, retina display?
Anyone out there using one?
I know it says up to 7 hours, but things never last as long as they say.
Thanks in advance.

I watch movies from takeoff to landing between NY and CA on the non-retina. Usually have one quarter bar left at the end of the 5 hours (whatever that means). Not exactly a scientific test but I imagine it would go another hour before it crapped out. The retina never leaves the dock but the times I've unplugged it for the regular battery drain I've never noticed an appreciable difference in performance between it and the non-retina. I'd figure just about the same 6 hours on a charge. Never watched the clock when i was draining the battery though. I usually do whatever i need to do and then just leave something running and go to bed. Its dead in the morning. I'll try and pay attention next time. Et Facta Est Lux

I'm sure the next iteration of MBP will be better because it will also have Haswell, which is why battery life is so good for the MacBook Air. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
