A smirk would have been great, but she was having a tough time keeping her eyes open in the sun and this one just happened to be my favourite of the in-focus shots. Was hoping to hear what others thought?

Technically very nice from a DoF/Eyes in focus POV.
Creatively the deadpan expression, pale skin, the close up crop and the stuff crowding her head make it seem like.... well.... what I can only describe as a coffin shot.

Don't get me wrong. If I was dead I would totally want you t take my photo. But If I was alive I wouldn't find it particularly flattering/attractive. It is largely to do with her expression rather than your photography but I would certainly try to revisit and get her to smile and, maybe, shoot a little less tight.
