Hey guys, I recently saw a price drop (great deal btw) on the Canon 17-55mm IS lens. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is permanent or temporary?

The 17-55 is my walkabout lens, and the 50 1.4 is tack sharp! Well, at 1.4, my old hands are getting shakier than I thought, a tripod helps a lot in certain situations at that aperture. But it's a great portrait lens!

Both of those lenses went down on the Canon refurb store and the refurb's are always 80% of the map price. They often leave refurbs more expensive than a new lens when it goes on sale new, so this makes me think this will stick. http://www.flickr.com/photos/81190407@N08/
