3.I believe this to be a bluebottle fly, best shot i could get and the first i've ever seen

My rig is the simplest of the simple...60D, 100mm F/2.8L, 430EXii with a custom softbox diffuser. No stacks as i have no idea how to do such a thing :D

Thanks Brian,I shall research deeper, he was about half the size of the greenbottles i'm used to seeing and much more skittish (if that's possible :lol:)

Thanks! That's exactly what I'm using although my results are not in the same league as yours. Thanks for the info, now I know it's me and not the gear. How is your flash mounted?
