Darn it Adorama

Gotcha!

Since negative posts usually garner heavier traffic than positive ones, I thought I would lure you poor unsuspecting souls in here while I give a BIG "Shout Out" first to Helen Oster and then to Jorge in the Used Department at Adorama. I contacted Helen via email earlier today and requested photos of a camera I was interested in purchasing. Within a very short period of time Jorge sent the photos and in doing so helped me make up my mind on the purchase.

Since it is the Labor Day Holiday I think a special thanks is in order for the expedited service. Now get me my darn camera.

Adorama is always the first place I go to for my photography needs. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country or I would be at their store front every week.

BTW maybe a good time to mention that we close early tomorrow (Wednesday), for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah http://en.wikipedia.or​g/wiki/Rosh_Hashanah, and will be closed Thursday and Friday this week.

Open as usual on Sunday morning.

Yeah, and I'm really ticked-off about how they sent a Sigma 10-20mm lens
to my front door, without even consulting me, while they keep shipping standards
to a minimum cost across the industry.

I got a lens brand-new for roughly $29 less than it was selling for
a few years ago used, and it shipped within hours.

I really can't fault Adorama, ever.
They've always done right by me.
