More info | About 3 weeks ago, I paid $1049 for the EF 70-200 f/4L IS and it's now at $1349 but on the Flip side, yesterday I ordered a the EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 for $879, a couple Hundred Dollars lower than what it was a couple of weeks back. It has had a Rebate of $200 over the past year. Got mine for the $1399 in store while rebates were active. They come and go frequently. I would not buy anything at these current inflated prices. they would simply not hold. there will be new round of rebates, and drop in prices. You just have to buy at the right time. I paid 1850 for my 70-200 2.8 IS II, 1250 fro my 70-300L, 1300 for my 24 1.4L II, 1800 for my 24 tseII, 1350 for my 16-35II, all brand new, all from b&h or adorama over the last 2-3 years. My Flickr
